We’ll try our best to encourage and help all of our sites do whatever they can to make sure they become as environmentally sensitive as possible.

HOW WE DO IT
We assess each camping ground individually because responding to each location’s unique size and environment is key.
Everyone and everything needs room to breathe so that’s a major factor.
We’re definitely not fans of being squashed into a sea of nylon, plastic and people.
We know that wildlife and the ground that you’re camping on doesn’t like it either.
We help by making sure that everyone and everything has room to thrive.
KEEPING IT REAL
A beautifully manicured grass campsite can be lovely, but we’re more interested in what surrounds it and what’s been lost by creating that ‘perfect’ look.
We support wild and natural and we’ll help restore what should be there.
There may still be beautifully manicured grass but no longer at the expense of everything else.
BIO-DIVERSITY MAKES OUR WORLD ROCK!
It’s about every single living thing all working together to create more living things.
From microscopic to massive, everything plays an important part.
By helping to put simple things back in, we can make sure it keeps on working.
THE THINGS WE DO
We up-cycle, we recycle, we plant, we grow, we dream up possibilities with as neutral a carbon footprint as possible.
We want everything, including you, to grow.
Most people have things in a ‘useful one day pile’ or just waiting to be thrown out. We LOVE those things!
There’s very little that isn’t at least in part, reusable.
The best thing is, it’s all FREE!.
A bit of creativity goes a long way and that’s what we do. We help our sites find potential in what they already have.

We’re not Eco Engineering Gurus, but we have a wonderful friend who is….
Our friend Tim is a time served professional Environmental Consultant who understands things that we can’t even spell!
He’s passionate about the environment, bio-diversity and seeing the countryside being managed and enjoyed in a way that doesn’t harm our incredible Eco-systems.
When we’re asked to help improve the bio-diversity of one of our sites, that’s who steps in.
Tim knows exactly what he’s talking about, how to make it happen and how to translate a lifetime’s understanding of complex scientific knowledge into simple layman’s terms so that even we can understand what he’s talking about!
Hand in hand with sustainable living, the Sanctuary Camping Club believes in creativity, sharing knowledge and lifelong learning.
Combine all those things and you’ve got a great recipe for camping and caravan rallies with a very real purpose. What better than interacting with new people, having fun learning and improving your health and well-being all at the same time?
Between us we have a wealth of experience in organising events and rallies and understanding what makes everything tick.
WE CAN HELP WITH WORKSHOPS
We certify camping and caravan rallies of up to 5 days and we’re always delighted to know that there’s a theme or workshop or something else that teaches a new way of doing or seeing things.
We help. Everything from ideas through admin and marketing to hands on support. We love to make things happen and happen well.
